With three years to go, the new stadium to host the London 2012 Olympics is according to various sources, is on schedule and still within budget. The exterior of the building is now nearly finished and the ’soup bowl’ is ready for it’s interior ingredients.
Although they have been concerns about the logistics of hosting the Olympics during a global recession, many of the sponsors for the games were locked into agreement before the current financial turmoils of today. And of course, there are the IOC international sponsor, so there are no funding concerns for the future of the new stadium.
